Backup Planet is making their return to the Last Concert Cafe on October 12th. This rock ‘n’ roll band from Nashville heads into the Fall with wind in their sails and surging demand from fans of edgy, progressive rock-jam-funk with a Southern twist. Starting with the release of their new album, Reactions, at the end of March and an East Coast tour in support of it, Backup Planet left a profound mark on two significant regional festivals- Phunkberry Music Festival (Eureka Springs, AR) and Summer Camp Music Festival (Chillicothe, IL)- before performing five sets at Bonnaroo in front of thousands of new fans. It is worth mentioning that three of these were impromptu sets that came about at Bonnaroo, due to the response to their first set.

Joining them is Houston's own Helpin' Helpin'! These local jammers bring the heat every time they play, each performance leaving fans in awe.
