Based out of Houston, Heapin' Helpin' combines blues, soul, funk and folk influences to create a uniquely Texas-sized portion of rock. After several years of playing in various bands across Texas, the five-piece ensemble joined forces in the summer of 2014. Since then, the band has played in festivals and venues across Houston and Austin. After performing and writing their own music for several years, the band decided to record their first full length album in the summer of 2017. "Extra Gravy" captures the raw, energetic rock sound the band has crafted through their experiences performing live in and around Houston, Texas.
